Alex is a business executive with extensive experience and insight across several diverse business segments: consumer packaged goods, marketing, manufacturing, communications, and the B2B and B2C service industries. After Fortune 500 experiences at IBM, Colgate-Palmolive, and Ecolab, he held senior executive positions, including CEO, at several companies: Benckiser USA, Inc.; Screenvision Cinema Network; Whittle Communications (Time/Warner); Petroleum Heat & Power Company; and Perlucid Corporation. As a CEO, he used his strategic, marketing, and operating skills to build revenues, reduce costs, and create performance improvements.
Alex's training expertise is in break-through leadership, management, and communication development, branding (external and internal), and building high performance teams. He strongly contends that effective teamwork among employees is a key ingredient in a company's success. As a client, he worked with premier advertising agencies to help achieve the firm's external and internal branding objectives. Alex received his B.A. from Brown University and his M.B.A. from Columbia University.
